Track 1:Probiotic Nutrition
Probiotics are live microorganisms that are intended to have health benefits when consumed or applied to the body. They can be found in yogurt and other fermented foods, dietary supplements, and beauty products. Probiotics are nonpathogenic organisms (yeast or bacteria, especially lactic acid bacteria) in foods that can exert a positive influence on the host's health. The theory is that live microorganisms within food or in the form of a supplement improve the microbial balance of the intestinal tract.
Probiotics are a combination of live beneficial bacteria and/or yeasts that naturally live in your body. Bacteria is usually viewed in a negative light as something that makes you sick. However, you have two kinds of bacteria constantly in and on your body — good bacteria and bad bacteria.
Track 2:Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders
Endocrine and metabolic diseases span a vast range of conditions. Together, they affect many millions of Americans and can profoundly decrease quality of life. NIDDK supports research on many of these conditions, including osteoporosis, cystic fibrosis, hypothyroidism, and obesity. Osteoporosis is a disease marked by reduced bone strength and linked to aging and fracture risk. 53 million people in the United States either have or are at risk for osteoporosis. Hypothyroidism, or underactive thyroid, affects about 4.6 percent of the U.S. population age 12 and older. More than 30,000 Americans have cystic fibrosis, an inherited disease in which salt and water cannot flow appropriately in many critical tissues. Despite dramatic advances in treatment and life expectancy, cystic fibrosis substantially reduces lifespan and its management is challenging.
Track 3:Clinical & Translational Endocrinology
Clinical and Translational Endocrinology is patient-oriented research in a variety of disciplines in endocrinology, including diabetes, metabolic bone disease and osteoporosis, thyroid disease, pituitary and lipid disorders. Clinical & Translational Research is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal that encompasses all areas of clinical and translational research in the dental, oral and craniofacial sciences. The goal of many clinical trials is to obtain regulatory approval for an intervention. The clinical implementation stage of translation involves the adoption of interventions into routine clinical care for the general population.
Track 4:Endocrinology & Metabolism
Endocrinology is the field of hormone-related diseases. An endocrinologist can diagnose and treat hormone problems and the complications that arise from them. Hormones regulate metabolism, respiration, growth, reproduction, sensory perception, and movement.
Endocrinology is the subspecialty of internal medicine that focuses on the diagnosis and care of diseases related to the endocrine glands, hormones, and metabolism. These diseases include type 1 and type 2 diabetes; disorders of the pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, and other glands; and metabolic disorders, often inherited conditions in which chemical processes necessary for metabolism are not functioning properly.
Track 5:Endocrinology & Diabetes and Obesity
Diabetes and endocrinology is a broad-ranging specialty encompassing the diagnosis and treatment of patients with conditions caused by abnormalities of hormone production or action, and the endocrine glands that produce them. Endocrinology is the study of hormones. Hormones are essential for our every-day survival. They control our temperature, sleep, mood, stress, growth and more. An endocrinologist is a doctor that treats diseases related to problems with hormones.

Track 6:Pituitary and Adrenal disorders
The pituitary and adrenal glands are responsible for releasing hormones into your body. Hormones control many important functions. If you have a disorder of the pituitary or adrenal gland, you are either making too much or not making enough of a certain hormone.
Adrenal disorders are the result of your glands making too much or not enough of certain hormones. Hormones produced by the adrenals include hydrocortisone (also called cortisol), adrenaline and aldosterone. Adrenal disorders are the result of your glands making too much or not enough of certain hormones. Hormones produced by the adrenals include hydrocortisone (also called cortisol), adrenaline and aldosterone.
Track 7:Reproductive hormone disorders
Reproductive hormone disorders can affect fertility and may have long-term effects on metabolic, cardiovascular and bone health. The reproductive hormones include estrogen and progesterone in women and testosterone in men. They originate from the primary reproductive glands (ovaries in women and testes in men) and are regulated by hormone signals from the pituitary gland; luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH).
Track 8:Cardiovascular Endocrinology
The heart uses an endocrine mechanism to communicate with the rest of the body. • Heart-derived hormones, such as GDF-15, myostatin, and ANP/BNP, share common features, including synthesis, regulation, and function, and they coordinate the functions of the heart and target organs.Endocrinologists specialize in the care of hormone imbalances and hormone-related health problems. They also understand the relationship between hormones and your heart. If you have an endocrine disorder, such as diabetes, endocrinologists can help you keep it under control and help you avoid potential heart problems.
Track 9:Female Reproductive Endocrinology
Reproductive endocrinology [en-doh-kruh-NOL-uh-jee] is a medical specialty for infertility, menopause, and other issues with reproductive hormones. Reproductive endocrinologists are OB/GYN (obstetrics and gynecology) doctors with special training to help both men and women with problems related to reproductive hormones. Sometimes, this specialty is called reproductive endocrinology and infertility because much of their work focuses on helping women to become pregnant and carry a baby to term.
A reproductive endocrinologist can help with any condition or need related to female hormones. These include:
Infertility. When you have trouble getting pregnant, the doctor asks questions and uses tests to find out what might be the cause. The doctor will then recommend treatments based on the cause.
Fertility preservation. You can save sperm, eggs, or embryos (fertilized eggs) when you have a condition, treatment, or experience that will affect your fertility. For example, a person who needs cancer treatment might decide to have her eggs or embryos frozen before treatment.
Track 10:Pediatric Endocrinology
At Mayo Clinic, physicians who are board certified in pediatrics as well as pediatric endocrinology and metabolism have been treating endocrine disease in children and teenagers for over 50 years. Using a team approach, they work closely with Mayo specialists in radiology, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, surgery and other specialties, including adult endocrinology, to meet each child's needs.
Mayo Clinic's experts in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Metabolism diagnose and treat many diseases and disorders, such as:
Adrenal glands disorders
Adrenoleukodystrophy
Bone and mineral disorders
Childhood obesity
Diabetes, including type 1 and type 2
Lipid disorders

Track 11:Transgender Medicine and Research
Emerging science shows that gender identity has a durable biological underpinning that needs to be considered in policy decisions. Our position statement and Clinical Practice Guideline are setting the tone of the debate. As thought leaders on gender incongruence, we want to ensure transgender individuals have equal access to medical care and insurance coverage. We also are pushing for additional research into transgender health and treatment options.
Track 12:Male Reproductive Endocrinology
The testes synthesize two important products: testosterone, needed for the development and maintenance of many physiological functions; and sperm, needed for male fertility. The synthesis of both products is regulated by endocrine hormones produced in the hypothalamus and pituitary, as well as locally within the testis. Testosterone is indispensable for sperm production, however both testosterone and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) are needed for optimal testicular development and maximal sperm production. Sperm are produced via the extraordinarily complex and dynamic process of spermatogenesis that requires co-operation between multiple testicular cell types. While it has long been known that testosterone and FSH regulate spermatogenesis, years of research has shed light on many of the intricate mechanisms by which spermatogonial stem cells develop into highly specialized, motile spermatozoa. Spermatogenesis involves the concerted interactions of endocrine hormones, but also many paracrine and growth factors, tightly co-ordinated gene and protein expression programs as well as epigenetic modifiers of the genome and different non-coding RNA species
Track 13:Endocrine Cancers
Endocrine cancers are those found in tissues of the endocrine system, which includes the thyroid, adrenal, pancreas, parathyroid, and pituitary glands.
Neuroendocrine Tumors.
Parathyroid Tumors.
Pituitary Tumors.
Tumors can occur in any of the major endocrine glands, including the thyroid, parathyroid, pituitary and adrenal glands, and the pancreas.
Track 14: Thyroid disorders
The thyroid is found within the front of the neck and produces hormone , which helps regulate the body’s metabolism. Problems with the thyroid include an excessive amount of (hyperthyroidism) or insufficient (hypothyroidism) hormone , inflammation of the thyroid (thyroiditis), thyroid nodules (lumps within the thyroid gland), or thyroid cancer.
Hyperthyroidism refers to having an excessive amount of hormone within the blood, which ends up in a rise within the body's metabolism.
Hypothyroidism refers to having insufficient hormone , which may end in a slowing of the body's metabolism.
Thyroiditis refers to inflammation of the thyroid . this will sometimes end in a short lived increase hormone within the blood (hyperthyroidism), but also can cause long-term destruction of the thyroid , eventually causing low hormone (hypothyroidism).
Track 15: Diabetes Nursing
One of the foremost significant features of diabetes management is that the self-management of diabetes which may be effectively achieved, and complications prevented with the assistance and support of the nursing team. Diabetes specialist nurses play an important role in screening diabetic persons, detecting early onset of diabetes, considering nutritional needs of the patient, promoting self-management, providing prevention advice, spreading awareness on diabetes and providing health education. it's very necessary for nurses to be educated, trained and skilled sufficiently to be ready to proficiently deliver care, support self-management and supply advice to diabetic

The global endocrinology drugs market is expected to witness lucrative growth over the forecast period owing to the increasing prevalence of endocrine diseases. These diseases include endocrine gland associated disorders such as Addison’s disease, gigantism, goiter, Cushing’s syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, acromegaly, thyroiditis, and osteomalacia. Rising adolescent population base which is more prone to such diseases due to hormonal imbalances also tends to drive the growth of the endocrinology drugs market. Unhealthy lifestyle characteristics such as high intake of cholesterol, work stress, and weight gain which ultimately leading to malfunctioning of the endocrine system, inception of new drug delivery systems, extensive research and development, and the rise in disposable income propel the growth of endocrinology drugs market. The rapid uptake of novel dosage forms and formulations of existing drugs is expected to increase the number of patients for the treatment of endocrine disorders thus leading to market growth. On the contrary, illegal use of certain drugs for performance enhancement by sports professionals poses a threat to society thereby hindering the growth of the endocrinology drugs market.
